Amazon.com, Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) is determined to expand and diversify its business operations. To reach its set business objectives, it is looking to work closely with the black content writers. Netflix, Inc (NASDAQ:NFLX) was the first one to realize the benefits to be accrued by working with them.

Amazon’s determination towards success

Amazon will be able to catch a glimpse of the Monkeypaw Production company ideas and proceed to utilize them for most of its television series. The writer behind the production is called Jordan Peele and is widely known for being both the writer as well as the director of the hit film “Get Out.” Matters got to that point after he agreed to be a part of the agreement that was signed between him and the online retailer.

Amazon through its spokesperson disclosed that just as it is the case with quite a significant number of the top end companies it won’t be left behind in tapping into the various shows associated with a strong black identity in a bid to boost the number of subscribers that it has at this point in time.

Jeff Bezos and his efforts to improve the company

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has already made significant steps forward in terms of making original content one of the company’s most public endeavors. There has been a lot of pressure from the interested parties who want the business guru to unveil the figures for its total audience. It still prefers to keep the figures confidential for reasons best known to it.

Another official working with the company has disclosed that this year alone they are expecting to spend almost $5 billion on new original programming.

Peele will be joining a league of black producers and creators who of late have been collaborating with the various streaming companies.

Latest trade deals

The other major development is about the Obama’s inking a multi-year storytelling contract with Netflix and soon they will be entrusted with the production of series and films.

The award-winning showrunner Shonda Rhimes also has a multi-year content deal with Netflix which according to reports is associated with a figure of about $100 million. With the passage of time Netflix is growing to become a major player in the space and that is rather evident considering it has about 25 million subscribers. The subscribers are spread across 190 countries and it is hoping to boost this number in the near future.
